Sun Systems has developed a simple RS232 application free for downloading that can be used as a tool for local program editing and storage as well as simple temperature charting. It can be used with all of our environmental chambers, process controllers and temperature controllers. The source code (written in Visual Basic 6.0) is available as well for those interested in creating custom RS232 applications for their Sun chamber or process controller.
All that is required to run the application is a PC running Windows 9x, NT, 2000 or XP, an available RS232 port and an RS232 cable (available for purchase from Sun).

Also available for download is a GPIB application capable of controlling up to 4 EC1X chambers. To run this program you will need a PC running Windows 9x, NT, 2000 or XP and a National Instrument GPIB card with cables. The Visual Basic 6.0 source code for this demo application is available free for downloading as well.
