RS232/IEEE488(GPIB)/MATLAB
Sun has developed demos for the RS232 and IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface
including sample MATLAB m-files that are free for downloading and can
be used as a tool for local program editing and storage, as well as
simple data logging and temperature charting. Demos are available for
all of our environmental chambers and process controllers.
For PC's without an RS232 port, a serial to USB adaptor or serial to wifi device such as the WF5000B from US converters can be used to continue using an RS232 application with a Sun chamber or add a Sun chamber to a wireless network.
